What would you expect? I found Brandt and Ciara's story endearing though predictable. Yes he curses like a sailor but hey he's a top rated pro football quarterback. I am pleased after finishing Here I Am Brandt maintain his 'just off the Mayflower' persona. In previous books, when dealing with caucasian men, Ms Alers would always 'taint' their blood making them bi-racial. I had debated whether or not I would read this book.
